Leitat is a laboratory accredited by the FIA to evaluate and approve protective clothing for drivers according to the FIA 8856-2018 regulations, being the only one in Spain and one of the few in Europe with this capacity.
Leitat is recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l ‘Automobile (FIA) to certify protective clothing for drivers and mechanics, verifying compliance with FIA 8856-2018 and FIA 8867-2016 regulations before marketing. Nationally, we are the only laboratory with this distinction and one of the few trained to do so globally.
