PREDICTFTD Project Kick-off in Rotterdam to Advance Early Diagnosis of Fronto-Temporal Dementia (FTD)

The PREDICTFTD project celebrated its Kick-off meeting on 23-24 January in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, marking the official start of an initiative focused on enhancing early diagnosis and care for patients with familial and sporadic Fronto-Temporal Dementia (FTD).

PREDICTFTD aims to validate a comprehensive set of biomarkers and develop a cutting-edge diagnostic tool that will enable early detection of FTD. This advancement is expected to significantly improve patient outcomes through tailored support, symptomatic treatments, and care strategies. Additionally, the project will harness AI-assisted, multi-modal, data-driven diagnostic algorithms to strengthen diagnostic precision.

The meeting served as an initial roundtable where project partners met face-to-face, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. It provided an excellent platform to showcase each partner’s expertise and set the foundation for effective project coordination.
